Andrew describes our 2025 EJ McDougall Chardonnay (Margaret River) as “generous and minerally with ample grapefruit, bitter lemon flavours, a fine chalky /al dente grip, underlying marzipan notes...matched with very good fruit volume and definition.” We are proud to share that this wine received an outstanding. 95+ points.

Our 2024 EJ McDougall Grenache (McLaren Vale) was praised for its “attractive strawberry pastille, red cherry, musky plum aromas with hints of Americano... Supple and minerally with bangs of primary fruit…very good mid-palate viscosity and well-integrated acidity. ” This wine was awarded an impressive.” 96 points.

The 2024 EJ McDougall Old Vine Shiraz (McLaren Vale) was noted for its “claret firm finish with al dente/sappy, hint ferruginous notes... Vibrant, richly flavoured and vigorous,” earning a strong 93 points.
